Mama, do you feel more like the left picture or the right one? While can honestly say, I more often and most days feel like the photo on the right, there was definitely a time when the left photo was a more accurate description of my mind space.
After giving everything I had during the day to the beautiful children in my life, I had absolutely nothing left at the end of the day. And most of the time I didn’t notice, because I was just too busy chasing the kiddos to really take that moment of self-reflection and realize how energy depleted I really was. I’d just crawl into bed, and do it all over again the following day.
I want to share with you one piece of the puzzle for me. Meditation.
It never really occurred to me that it could be something so powerful. I had actually practiced a little back in college at a center on campus (walking and sitting meditations). And it wasn’t until my therapist (around the time my son was born) had suggested I tried a guided meditation app on my phone that I tried again. And the mindset shift has been slow, but I can feel the difference between then and now.
That said, I’d LOVE to invite you to join me for a FREE 21-day Mama Meditation Challenge I’m hosting starting February 4th. Honestly, this is something I’ve wanted to do for AGES and I’m finally just putting it out there!
All I ask is that you show up, and commit to at least 5 minutes of meditation each day. I’ll give you some tips and hints I’ve picked up along the way that have totally helped me and can’t wait to get to know you too!
You are ENOUGH! You can join us by just entering your best email below. I would love to meditate with you!
