Being playful is so important to me, especially when it comes to interacting with the kids. On this day when my daughter and nephew start their first day of kindergarten, I wish them nothing but happiness and adventure.
*Sniff.* Don’t mind me. I’ve got allergies.
I won’t lie, my mama heart is very heavy with all the changes happening, seemingly, all at once (my son also starts preschool next week). It’ll be an adjustment to the quietness of the house.
But this is what it means to be a parent. Love them, teach them, so they can go into this world with confidence and bravery.
